It is an award for honoring outstanding school teachers having excellent demonstrated performance in their respective fields.

The award has been initiated by the Teachers Sity (teachersity.org) & collaboration with -----------------

It aims to publicly recognize, acknowledge and inspire teachers and create heroes and role models at every level, city, state and national level.

It is open only to TGTs and PGTs teaching any one subject mentioned in the category list in classes IX, X, XI & XII. TGTs and PGTs teaching in schools in India, affiliated to any board are eligible. Those teachers, who are teaching in CBSE affiliated schools abroad, are also eligible for the award.

For the purpose of this award, subjects have been grouped in three categories;

1: Science,Physics, Chemistry & Biology

2: English Language & Mathematics

3:Social Sciences,Commerce ,Business Studies, Accountancy & Economics

This award is open to teacher community across Delhi/NCR region only.

Though this award is meant for teachers, however nominations of those principals, who are actively teaching and have appropriate supporting evidence of the same, can be accepted.

A committee comprising renowned educationists will scrutinize nominations.Result will be calculated electronically with due weightage given to self evaluation,Principals and secondary teacher's evaluating. In case the need is felt, some of the applicants may be called for personal interview either face to face or video conferencing and finalize the awards.

Award winners will receive a certificate/citation and such cash/kind reward as decided by the awards authorities.
